Agreement

All dancers must make a full Nutcracker Season commitment; September 14th through December 1st (for those only performing in Rochester at the Eastman Theatre), December 8th (for those performing in Elba at Elba Central School), or December 15th (for those performing in Canandaigua).

All rehearsals are mandatory, including the setting and weekly rehearsals. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early and be ready to start on time. Girls are to wear a leotard, tights, and ballet slippers with hair in a bun; boys are to wear a white shirt. black tights, & ballet shoes with hair neatly groomed.

Only (2) absences are permitted total; and no absences are permitted November 13 - December 10, 2023.

If absence is anticipated, please let the Artistic Directors know via email at production@rochestercityballet.org

In the event of an emergency (illness, injury, etc) during the studio rehearsal period; please alert your Rehearsal Director by calling the main office at 585-461-5850. If the illness or injury is such that the dancer will be unable to fulfill their performance commitments, please inform the Artistic Directors at production@rochestercityballet.org.

All rehearsals are closed to family, friends, and the general public. The security & supervision of all cast members is our top priority at RCB. Please be assured that we do everything to ensure the safety of our dancers at all rehearsals and performances.

Professionalism from each dancer is expected at all times in all circumstances. The Rehearsal Director has the authority to dismiss any dancer from rehearsal or performance who has excessive absences, or is not working at a professional level.

Volunteers are required for the success of this production. Parents should be prepared to volunteer at least 2 times throughout theater week, for rehearsals and performances.
